Offshore Shukheir Oil Company (OSOCO) was formed on Sept. 24th,1980 as an Egyptian company operating on behalf of its shareholders to operate the OFFSHORE SHUKHEIR AREA which is covered by the Concession.
FACILITIES
Gamma field is located in the offshore area of the southern part of Shukheir Marine Concession with area about 35 km², which is about 2.5 km far from the western coast.
ABOUT US
Shukheir Marine Concession is located offshore in the central part of the Gulf Of Suez, bordering the western coast between Shukheir Bay.
MISSION & VISION
The company's main purpose is to operate on behalf of EGPC & Contractor and to manage the development operations due to the agreement between ARE, EGPC and Contractor which includes all operations in Shukheir Marine concession in Gulf of Suez.
ACHIEVEMENTS
1- 3D\OBC seismic survey has been acquired for Shukheir Bay & Gamma fields in June 2007.
2- 3D seismic processing has been completed.
3- OSOCO is currently finalizing 3D seismic interpretation.
